Yesterday I DJ'ed a family wedding for Jo and Sarah at the beautiful Knowle House Country Hotel & Restaurant, a fabulous location for as come rain or shine the facility is brilliant. And indeed it did rain and shine, in equal measure. Jo and Sarah wanted a relaxed and informal day without too much fuss. And it was delivered. A very memorable occasion.
I was asked to supply music for the ceremony, drinks and canapes and then on into the evening reception. In addition I added some mood lighting and supplied mobile PA as right up until the last minute the ceremony could have been inside or out as the weather was so changeable. The mobile PA is battery powered and offers total flexibility - you see it tucked in the far left hand corner during as the ceremony is about to start.
There were plenty of laughs there were tears, as Jo and Sarah, and family and friends, shared their thoughts and feelings amongst each other and their guests with some superb speeches.
To add to the entertainment a box of props became hugely popular!!! Mind that light young man.
The evening party was non-stop. The guests really enjoyed some cheesey music and we partied to the end of the night.
