Thankfully the thunderous skies skirted the venue, for the most part, allowing Becki and Jay's wedding to progress largely as planned at the glorious Horniman Museum Conservatory. The Horniman is beautifully situated for amazing views looking west towards the central London skyline and has itself a wealth of interesting and stimulating artifacts on view all year round; it's quite an amazing place.
The spectacular grounds and architecture offer a great range of photo opportunities and as day moves into evening, the mood lighting of the Conservatory makes for a special ambience.
Becki and Jay were, and are, very much into their indie music. Thankfully their guests were also. These tastes were to be reflected in the music throughout their special celebration. In addition to indie they wanted a Motown/Soul/Funk start to the evening reception - see the full playlist below.
