Catherine and Joe and their guests were ready to party from the off. It was obvious from the laughter and general high energy chat coming from the wedding breakfast room that the mood was high. As guests were received into the evening reception room the formalities were soon underway with the cake cutting and a smooth transition into the first dance. From thereon it was a great party all the way.
Eltham Lodge is one of those venues that can offer a dramatic change of face between the afternoon drinks reception and the evening reception that follows, as the wedding breakfast takes place in a completely separate room. Therefore, the bride and groom, together with their guests were treated to quite a spectacle.
I shared the entertainment with a lively party band and at the wishes of the B&G my second set was a Garage one. In addition to the music I supplied starlight dance floor and mood lighting throughout.
